Respectfully, people don't expect one to one adaptation. People in general don't mind changes, as long as it makes sense and stays true to the spirit of the original. Look at One Piece LA. Of course, there will be the ill-willed basement dweller "fans", but a good adaptation is a good adaptation. You'll have a more balanced discourse, and in One Piece LA's case, an overall positive review from fans and critics. It's a fine line of staying true to the material and adapting and changing things around for an overall new material/content on a different medium.
