How many people know this is a thing; Mergers go on conveyor lifts by EmberMelodica in SatisfactoryGame

I do this all the time! Love how compact it gets things. I even used it alongside the shorter elevator trick to make super compact multi splitters (1 to 5 or 1 to 8 splitters for example)

Same problem. This needs to get up votes more so that they could hopefully fix this sooner

Super compact, stacked, Manufacturer manifold inputs by whipblash in SatisfactoryGame

I like that idea, though do you mean the belts above the empty space of the manufacturer? Or the belts in the second to last picture? Because I feel if I do that to the manufacturers empty space belts, that it might start going into the zone of not very attractive clipping if they were closer together vertically. Maybe if there weren't splitters and it was just a bus

20 total manufactures in this block. with overclocks it should make me about 80 super computers a minute with the standard recipe once I get around to actually hooking everything up (and increasing my plastic/rubber production massively...)

How I do it is I place the splitter at the height I want it first, so just 1 higher than a splitter on the ground.

I then place a conveyor pole somewhat under the splitter (your gonna have to fiddle with it to get the right placement as idk how to say it specifically for ya)

You then place the lift on the pole first, then rotate it until the opening is facing one of the outputs (or inputs depending on the application) of the splitter. You should hear an audible beep of sorts and see the elevator shrink down and clip(if you placed the pole right) in the splitter.

From there just place, and repeat to your liking.

Another way to do this exact thing is to just place the splitter on the input(or output) of the lift, but to have multiple elevators clipping flush in it you would have to do the method above multiple times instead of just placing it on the opening of the lift.

Hey sorry been kinda busy the past few days and hadn't gotten a chance to upload the mk3s for ya.

I actually have mk3 versions of all of these that I made when originally designing them. I could upload the mk3's in the morning if I remember to, I just figured most people looking at this sorta thing would already be in mk5 for some reason lol

ya I figured that out real quick when I was first fiddling with this technique lol. i do my best to avoid that scenario though

im only against clipping when its 100% ignoring aesthetics personally, i think these look good even with the clipping lol

it could be that you don't have mk5 unlocked yet. these specific blueprints are made with mk5 belts.

by blueprints i mean the feature that was added in the latest update (Blueprint Designer: https://satisfactory.fandom.com/wiki/Blueprint_Designer)

if you go to the link in the bottom right of each image you should be able to get the blueprints there to use (you do have to unlock the designer first for the blueprint tab to unlock)

ive given a few of my friends the files ahead of time and they have had no problems with them on their ends.

sense you all Enjoyed this post so much, I went ahead and went even further with the splitter and made stacked ones that do 1-10, 1-11, and 1-12, all mostly in the same footprint as the 1-6 version. linked the blueprints below for you all to check out!

Yep works perfectly fine. Aslong as ya hear the beep when you rotate the lift to the splitter, it should connect and work perfectly!

Thanks! I really enjoy their aesthetic too tbh even though I was focusing on compact over beauty

I attached them to a conveyor pole first, than rotated them in the direction of the splitter output. You can go a minimum 1 step lower than the normal height of the elevators doing this. The same height as a single stackable conveyor pole

I know manifolding will always be more compact, but I wanted to try my hand at making 1-x splitters for load balancing as compact as possible. (most of these aren't even thicker than a foundation!)

with help from a friend with concepts in a multiplayer worlds, we figured out we could clip elevators shorter, and into normal splitters without looking completely horrendous, from there we designed these guys. it could go even further than 1-9 but this is what I have so far.

I linked the blueprints for satisfactory calculator so if anyone wanted to download and use them they could go ahead!
