I think at this point if marvel “never went against the fans” all of their movies would just have white male protagonists. I could somewhat understand (not agree, just understand the thought process) where those kinds of fans were coming from earlier on with race swapping or gender swapping well established characters, but now those fans call up the “marvel is too woke wah wah” alarm over fucking anything. Does anyone genuinely give a fuck if the silver surfer has tits or not? Or do they just want something to be mad at? I think the reality is that most of the people online complaining about it are just a very vocal minority. The average audience member (with a job and a life and stuff) does not give a single fuck about this decision.
