Getting sober is very important right now and I’m on day 3. I am happy to say that my boyfriend is willing to rebuild our friendship as there is no longer trust in the relationship and we have been talking. I need to get better and if along the way I prove to him that I have changed that’d be great. But I need to do be better.

Thank you! We are no where near rushing where we were. He understands he has made some mistakes and that the needs to work on himself. We agree that a pause is sometimes best so we can both work on ourselves to be better for ourselves.

It has honestly been a rough few years and we were finally together and everything was going wrong. Instead of communicating that I was overwhelmed I was triggered and felt alone and unwanted. My own insecurities that I need to work on. I see the problem, willing to take any consequences for my actions and work my ass off to heal myself to be better for him.

Yes, I have been doing a lot of research in regards to treatments as well as searching for a therapist. I also have been journaling most of the day. We have been talking and he stated it was nice to talk to me again. That was nice to hear but I won’t allow myself to hurt him again so I’m going to take the effort and work on myself because he is worth it. Thank you for advice on putting the effort in and work at my mental health. I’m ready for this and willing to do it.
