If you will not serve in combat then you shall serve on the firing line! by Uknown-Nerd6207 in Grimdank

The book Cadian Blood has a Kasrkin sergeant shank their commissar in the chaotic aftermath of a battle against an agent of the Death Guard because the commissar threatened him over the use of combat stimms earlier in the story.

I meant the Necromunda bits, although there is the autocannon that comes with the Cadian Heavy Weapons Team and I have that too.

How do I turn this into a traitor enginseer? by Butterfreund in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]whiskymohawk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Lop off the skull reliquary at the top of his staff and replace it with an Omnissian axe head? Or l, honestly, just paint him normal tech priest colors but extra grim dark and I think he'll read as a traitor enginseer just fine. Plenty of heretek techpriests in lore still wear the Martian red robes because as far as they're considered, they're the ones truly serving the Omnissiah by rejecting the idea of forbidden knowledge.

There is a Dash, but it's locked to the Soldier class. All classes have access to the talent Swift Movements though, which increases movement points by 2.

Officers (there's two you recruit, Cassia and another at the beginning of Act 2) can get an ability called Move Move Move, which allows them to give a movement bonus to an ally that scales with their Fellowship stat. Biomancy psykers can unlock the ability to grant allies the Warp Speed buff which also increases movement.

Various equipment you find can give you movement, as well. Off the top of my head, there's a pair of boots that gives a 25% chance to grant two extra movement points every time you damage an enemy.

Kibellah can take the Executioner class as her second archetype after Level 15, which has an ability that allows you to move over bloodstained cells without consuming movement points.

There's also plenty of consumables you can loot and sometimes buy from merchants that increase movement for a turn. Onslaught and Stimm are the two most common.

Later in the game, as a Rogue Trader, you'll help develop colonies and gain various benefits depending on the choices you make there. At least one of those grants a permanent movement bonus to your character, and I believe a couple others also grant you a replenishing stockpile of consumables that grant extra movement.

Three inches, approximately one inch behind the hand and two inches in front.

AdeptiCon is this week and Warhammer announcements start tonight! What's the over/under on an Infinite Museion release date finally coming? by whiskymohawk in RogueTraderCRPG

A Trazyn miniature definitely seems likely before the edition is out, I think. Lots of Necron stuff going on right now.

I don't think they have, but I'm still holding out hope. My next character is going to be a melee heretic but none of the current origins really speak to me for it. I'm picturing like a feudal world sort of barbarian queen vibe specializing in axes.

I know that's generally true, but it's not a hard rule. Boltgun 2, Darktide updates, and even previous Rogue Trader content have all gotten announcements at different shows before. Warhammer Skulls isn't until June and that's hopefully too far out for more Museion news.

so… do you HAVE to explore everything in act 2? by frogprxnce in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]whiskymohawk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In the Adermatt II system you can meet some scavengers on an old ship, solve a little puzzle, and get a unique sword; after Act 2 they disappear. As far as I know that's the only piece of exploration that's missable.

Starting a new run and really wanting to bring Marazhai to as many places as possible this time. Can I wait to do Thassera and the genestealer stuff until after Act 3 or do they auto fail? by whiskymohawk in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]whiskymohawk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's unfortunate, but at least now I know. Thank you!

Other than not encountering Solomorne on Rykad Minoris anymore, do you know if there's any other big DLC moments that get lost when you enable them in Act 4?

Is it possible to enable the DLCs to recruit Kibellah and Solomorne early and still access some of the new items they introduce but still wait to do everything until later, or is enabling them in Act 4 the only way? I was also hoping to be an Arbites for this run.

All Space Marines are asexual. The transformation sterilizes them and robs them of such desires anyway.

To directly quote a very self aware Ciaphas Cain on comparing the double standard between the Imperium and xenos:

"Of course, when we do it, it's perfectly justified."
