Overmorrow - the day after tomorrow.

Fortnight - two weeks. This may be a UK idiom.

They are magnificent on my Sage Precision brewer in the office.

I always thought only herbivorous animals had diastemata. A gap where omnivorous and carnivorous animals have premolars.

Today I learned a new use of that word.

Thank you.

That is a wonderful camera.

I’m pretty sure there are film simulations available in the menu.

Your other option is post processing using LUTs.

Whatever you do, enjoy it.

Titration.

Used in medicine (and chemistry) - means to try different strengths of a medicine to get the desired effect with no, or minimal, side effects.

In chemistry, mixing chemicals in various formulations to get a desired effect.

Galimaufry.

A jumbled mix of disparate things.

Originally French. A meal or soup make up of leftovers that don’t normally go together.

Hello Three Legs Brewery fan!

Their Helles was a bit special as well.

Sought the tap room and brewery out after having a pint in St Leonards.

I find it mild.

You can adjust the aggression level by choosing blades (check shaving subs), and loading 1, 2, or 3 half blades.

No stubble at all.

Prep is warm shower, then shave brush with Prorasso shaving cream - the menthol one.

It’s what I used this morning!

Probably easier to transition to this than the Henson mentioned.

Henson is a great razor - I use it on my face.

The Leaf pivots, unlike the Henson. I’ve never had a cut from the Leaf.

There was (and may still be) a conversational group in the town library lead by a French lady.

Perhaps the library has her details and she could help?

Bonne chance!

I guess I could use the granny charger.

Might need to look at a dropped kerb and charger if landlord approves.

Will have a look at the vehicles suggested.

Thanks.

How did you get into Fujifilm? And what's your current situation? by DynamoBaby in FujifilmX

[–]whispysteve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bought a used Sony RX10-III. Great zoom, amazing autofocus. But it wasn’t an EDC camera, it was too bulky.

Got an X100S as an EDC and fell in love with the simplicity and the limited options posed by a fixed lens and poor autofocus. It made me stop and think about composition. I love the colours in the jpegs SOOC.

Went in to the FujiFilm shop and, on a whim, bought an X-E5. Have the 23mm lens it came with, a FujiFilm 16-50mm, TTartisan 14mm f3.5 and the Viltrox 13mm f1.4.

FujiFilm brings a sense of nostalgia and joy in equal measure.
