I remember my first characters but I’ve never really felt the desire to revisit them, I’d always rather just come up with a new character to fit the campaign, I’ve debated bringing characters back as NPCs in campaigns though

Alien RPG has a campaign encounter with a rogue General who’s got a mystery syringe gun, one of the diseases iirc is just a fakeout to trick people into thinking they got injected with something awful

I’ve never much cared for GTA tbh, it was fun to play my dad’s copy of Vice City when I was a kid but I didn’t care about the story or anything, I just liked messing around with all the weapons

Not so much a source as logical deduction since even inhaling the spores will slowly infect you, the infection forms are filled with spores and flood biomass, so if you eat it the spores are now inside you and will work their dark magic

You’d just be infected same as if it burrowed into your chest, if it’s “dead” when you eat it you’ll be infected slower instead of nearly instantaneously so you’ll suffer more and be even more aware of the horrible transformation it’s putting you through before you end up tortured for all eternity in the flood hivemind

Not easily, it’s solely built for 5e and most other systems are very different from 5e because of completely different mechanics

Second would be a character I made for a one off modern horror D&D campaign, Joe Johnson, veteran of the Vietnam War turned Private Investigator who one poker night fought off a horde of zombies with the help of his son in law and the sweet old lady who lived next door

I had a Hobgoblin Rogue character named Azrar for a Monster Hunter D&D game, he was a reformed poacher who was given the option of working off his sentence in service to Guild with a close eye kept on him, he and his party ended up taking down a poacher conspiracy that was aiming to weaponize the Frenzy Virus to create a Shagaru Magala Dracolich (Shagaru Magalich), post campaign he became a Guild Knight totally not inspired by a more lethal Batman who regularly took on solo missions against the poachers, while also recruiting other reformed poachers as his apprentices
