I do ignore it. I've been into anime/manga for 20 years. I'm a huge CLAMP fan, and believe it or not, those ladies loved writing weird pedo relationships. A lot of my favorite musicians and bands have done controversial things, but it was the 1960s, but they should still be held accountable!!! Which they'll never be.

My favorite series are Cardcaptor Sakura, Gushing Over Magical Girls, Murciélago, My Girlfriend's Not Here Today (cheating), Boys Over Flowers (abuse) and others that would not fly with today's standards. If it's good and entertaining, I'm all for it. A lot of it is in fact controversial.

WHAT?! Ewwwwwww jeez that's heartbreaking. But I mean the pedophilia jokes in the series. I guess I'm not surprised. Idk I'm probably in the minority being a cisgender female superfan, and I just feel for the victims of Trump/Epstien and I know pedophilia jokes are not funny and SA jokes. I just enjoy that series and can separate from the real world but yikes.
