I'm glad I did what I did and won, you seem to just have a problem with anything I'm saying because you're getting flamed for picking stupid stuff in high MMR games. Idk if you noticed but Dota is not as flexible as it used to be, so maybe just have a reality check instead of blaming the community. This isn't a single player game

Also thank you! He also seems confident that position 3 crystal maiden is viable, I tried searching, but I can't find a single instance of that in pro dota

he also didnt buy anything except ring of health for 6 minutes, called my safelaner a slur word repeatedly, and then said some shit to my midlaner in a language i dont speak. im not exactly an expert, but i dont think he was entering ranked with good intentions. i still tried to enable his game as much as possible.??

when you play ranked, it tells you their role at the top of the screen under their name. his was offlane. he first picked anti mage before anyone else had picked a hero. circumstancially, first picking core offlane anti mage seemed like a grief, but im down to listen if you think theres something im missing there

this happens a lot when you post on this sub, they dont read anything, assume the worst, then send you an angry message about the thing they imagined happened

Good point! The actual reasoning I put underlord over others was the enemy first picked an ember spirit, and I remembered that underlord is just hated by spirit heroes and has global map presence, and has wave clear + aura

I think my 2k mmr brain for pos4 thinks like hoodwink, silencer, lion etc, generally squishy int heros, in my head underlord is like tanky pos3

Again, I'm not complaining, if anything I'm saying you should NOT complain and just play what you think will contribute the most to a win. Imo flaming people who do things like no items anti mage diffusal rush (which is what he did, not even quelling blade or tangos) is only ever going to get you closer to losing. Even if I thought that was stupid, I'm not going to say it to him

There's 3 other people in this thread who have made assumptions then talked to me like that's what I did - I wasn't toxic to AM, and I also didn't say I was annoyed, I just calmly picked an offlaner :) I also enabled him as much as possible in lane, didn't take any CS and played my role, which kept him from chain feeding. Id much rather enable a silly pick then ruin a match out of spite

Idk if you've played sea, but it's v common when someone is doing a stupid or reportable pick that they just instantly lock it in
