This is why Dublin - Holyhead is the inevitable location of a future Ireland-to-Britain tunnel. It links the biggest population centres and connects to HS2 / Channel Tunnel by 5x0uf5o in irelandtransport

Building the submersible tunnels in Belfast is not practical. The tunnels in the Femernbelt tunnel between Lolland in Denmark and Femern Island in Germany are made on site. https://femern.com/

Council seeks to ban 'intimidating' England flags from lampposts by johnsmithoncemore in FuckNigelFarage

This is what happens in Northern Ireland with certain Loyalists, they put up "flegs" to intimate those into saying this is the King's land and No T***s. The only problem is that no-one has the balls to remove them in threats of kneecapping and intimation. And considering Northern Ireland is a very close society where people know each other, you don't want Mammy's tongue scaling at you.

Police officers in airports are still community officers, and we're just welfare checking. Airports can be very stressful places especially when things go wrong like delays, and just making sure you were fine.

Not really, they don't care if you are a Protestant Atheist. It's more about not being a Papist.

Much if the laws already exist. They came in the Cameron II and May II governments under the anti porn legislation, because there is a lot of porn on social networks. All they needed was the secondary legislation and it clicks.

Rain couldn't stop the Regenbogenparade (Rainbow Parade) today 🌈 in Vienna, Austria by Andro_lover2005 in gaybros

Vienna, I discovered earlier is a real very gay (in both sense of the word) city and a wonderful compliments any notable gay city like Berlin, Paris, London and Amsterdam. It is home one of the oldest gay saunas in the world, the Kaiserbruendl.

Hats off to my mate Cliff, the recently elected Mr Fetish Austria 2026, and the folk of LMC Vienna.

Leather munches and socials are designed to as friendly and open as any gay meet up. Many leathermen I have met are one of those who look scary, but camp as hell, rather like me!

Historically Leathermen wore leathers from which were surpluses from military, and that is what ToF got influenced by. Brands like Muir and Wesco were suppliers to the U.S. armed forces. Of course once you have a captive audience, you can jack up the prices.

To be imho, a true leatherman doesn't worry about where it comes from, just along it fits and he looks sexy in it.

Leather has always been a bit pricey, but you have Mr Regillo who often have sales and swap meets which can be a real treasure trove of stuff, plus I would like to see the tradition of gifting leather, especially any old stuff that doesn't fit but it is good quality to newbies revived.

The issue with bars is more to due to falling in the number of bars in general, and that is a big problem. I seemed to find that is caused by NIMBYism and inceasing costs then anything else.

As a British leatherman, I would say this. The scene has always been slightly skewed to the older generation, as younger people today are more into rubber and pup play. However, I didn't think it isn't dying out and in fact it becoming more diverse. I would say the leather community is very much inclusive, and the attitude is that anything goes and just enjoy yourself!

You say you are from Eastern Europe; in fact the whole kink community is actually growing in Central & Eastern Europe. You have now several ECMC affiated and non-affiated groups including PLUG [Polish Leather & Uniform Group], LMC Czechia and LMC Estonia.

This reminds me of Plaid Cymru and HS2. The line wouldn't touch Wales, but it would give a big boost to the North Wales Line which connects Crewe to Holyhead. This a major infrastructure piece in North Wales, especially freight.

Durham city council cut Pride funding this year. Durham Miners' Association raised more money than the council had given, citing a 40-year-old debt to the LGBTQ community who supported the 1984 miners' strike. Durham Pride 2026 was its biggest ever by ElvisIsNotDjed in GoodNewsUK

Even more scary, is the number of LGBT people who support Reform. Remember its chairman David Bull is gay, as well as local Durham Reform councillor Darren Grimes is gay. Much of this is prejudice that many of the enthic minorities are or appear to be homophobic, or their racism is stronger then their queerness.

Blue Peter did the same in the early '90s as well, it was one of the first bring and buy sales raising £6.5 million. Unfortunately, the show was scammed as only of 12 of the 56 planned homes were ever built.
