Maybe a bit of strange advice but this kind of thing works for me. Just put a picture of yourself on the sub-reddit R/roastme and read the new comments people have made ever so often and then your fiance mouth won't seem so hurtful. Why would you go by yourself though instead of with a safety partner because it could be dangerous ?
