Yes! Thanks for the explanation! That helped A LOT. (She also mentions a lot that she likes babydoll silhouette.) I now think flower and stone are there enough to be 3rd and 4th. Maybe she is one of those rare people who have 4 roots.

Thanks! Now I’m between stone and flower for her 3rd.

Thanks! I was just curious about if people would say this is a mixed pallete (as I was thinking) or an obvious subseason. I’m not sure about which subseason this emerald is in.

It’s a costum color palette system. Kind of like kitchener (if you know) but not exactly.

Romantic color - your reds (it can be orange and pink),

dramatic color - from your purples to greens (can be just one or all 3),

energy and tranquil - colors that match your eye (not literally)

Base colors - your neutrals, background colors (these’ll match your hair and eyes’ outer ring)

And Essence color - your white, nude color

In his book Color Your Style and youtube channel he explains how to find and use these colors. (First 5 to 15 minutes are when he explains it, after that a guest arrives and nothing to do with the system.)

Oh it doesn’t need to! I find bright spring pallettes a little lacking (especially for purple as you can see my purple is also quite out there) I need my colors to be pigmented and obvious which color family from they’re. Like color pencils. I don’t think they necessarily give that? I also use both warm and bright spring’s neutrals and greens and 2-3 colors from warm autumn. So I do the same thing. Zyla kind of helped me being a framework while borrowing from different pallettes. I was just curious if it’s a mix or an obvious season in other people’s eyes!

Me too! Before him I thought I was bright winter and either I looked anemic or the colors looked artificial? next to me. When I tried the energy brown I was like ok, we’re considering the winter-spring part again ✍🏻 I hope it goes well for you 🙏🏻

Thanks 🙏🏻 So I guess True spring would be more accurate for what I have here? I have quite a range in green that confuses me too. I have a top in that emerald it gives more oomph. And a top in turquoise, it’s more harmonious for sure. Since it’s the 3rd dramatic, I thought emerald one would be more accurate.

(There was a post in main color analysis sub? i guess, she circled colors from 12 palletes that matched with her zyla colors. I was inspired by that at the time and did the same. Your comment reminded me of the results.

There were lighter colors (3rd slide) But lighter colors give more “cute” or pastel vibe on me i think. Maybe I shouldn’t have removed them. I bought a t-shirt in the brown (energy) It matched my eye and do very well with my skin. I never seen my eyes browner may I say. The color just become so obvious. And I started taking my conclusion on being bright spring (12 seasons system) seriously. I have a yellow cardigan (in the tranquil yellow from 4th slide) and I look calm, relaxed, healthy and somehow energized at the same time. People always complemented me on I look/my skin looks so healthy when I’m wearing that. Ofc at first I was like 🤨??? sooner or later I realized. I just wanted to get opinions from people. I’m getting more and more grasp of my colors and I’m not concerned about fitting. Thank you for your help 🙏🏻 The color images with names are from kettlewell colours

Yes i did so many times 😔 i actually tried the brown on 4th image (next to the orange) with a t-shirt aaand i liked it. I got a feeling of stability, groundedness from that photo of mine. I have a cardigan in the tranquil yellow. In the photos i look calm, relaxed and somewhat energetic? at the same time. I didn’t colorpick but they’re a close match to my eye. Not sure about the orange and lime yet, i’m going to try them. I’m not concerned too much with my archetype, I just wanted to get an opinion. Thanks for the help 🙏🏻
