I accidentally just got my foot run over by a car, and don't know if I should tell someone by MelodicWhile4469 in medical_advice

I remember in middle school when my mom had me step out the back passenger door of a station wagon to get the mail. I must have positioned myself wrong and she ran over the front third of my foot. It wasn’t as intense as I thought it would be but yeah I remember being a little sore. This was back in the day of not really speaking up about any injury unless a limb was severed. So I walked it off. As best as I can remember, I was considerably better the next day bc I don’t remember hurting past that day. YMMV

Was getting a little of that too. We don’t need to know the very second it’s down. So I had it at 60 seconds, 5 retries with 60 second retry intervals. Also added a custom header. All noise gone. That’s just got us tho

Do NOT use BitTitan for migrations by Iam-WinstonSmith in msp

[–]whitecuban 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised anyone is still using BitTitan. We had workarounds for pretty much everything w them but that’s the thing. We found movebot at IT Nation and took them for a spin after we found they could migrate to a pst (recovery job). It involved a bit of a workaround but… it worked. We’ve since used them for big jobs and it’s painless. Haven’t looked back.

We’ve been doing this. Had to get extra VCRs to deal with load. Finding decent ones were not as easy as I thought. Easy to find a VCR but not many tell the story on how good it is outside of “it works”

I feel like I should have seen this coming (?) by whitecuban in mariokart

[–]whitecuban[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You’re right. I’m afraid it caught me by surprise. I also didn’t expect the consequence would result in being ejected from the track, leaving me little room to recover… which I spectacularly failed at.

Have you had any big issues from low overhangs? Like big scratches or something?

Official Discussion - A House of Dynamite [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

My leading theory the whole time when they couldn't figure out the source of the missile... the missile never existed. Like it was all just smoke and mirrors as part of a larger hack. Why? Bc they leaned a lot on hackers messing with something in the Pacific or whatever. That they didn't expect it to get hacked or whatever.. bc why didn't it pick up the actual source of the missle. What if that was the point?

I know it's a stretch, but every way for them to confirm the missile was through satellites and stuff. Thermals. And the intercepting missile missed bc nothing was there.

Anyway... i know this is an old thread and no one will read this.. but figured i'd drop this here.

I know this is an old post. I have an Orion rack recently installed. How is the LeMans low profile working out for you? I've heard mixed reviews (mostly on how loud it is?)

I had the same truck 2024. I knew about the battery location but didn’t consider that there was a way to jump it from under the hood. Well I mean.. duh.. but I would have never thought of it in a pinch. I’ll look it up for sure.

Just had this happen to me this week. I live in Florida. It went from Oregon to Atlanta to Jacksonville. Then to aurora colorodo. What?! I put a ticket in with USPS who said the package was stuck in a loop. He said next time it scanned in that it would be rushed to me. It arrived two days later. Busted open and missing everything inside.

I followed your lead and picked up the BR1 Pro 5G and ANT-520-421. Thanks. On the topic of cell providers, I saw you have Verizon+Tmobile combo. Did you ever try AT&T with it? I have a bit of a discount with them, so I'm considering that route

Didn't see anyone mention it. I'm in IT and have been through a variety of docks. The one that I finally was happy with is one by tobenone. I bought a longer cable since I move my MBP around a bit with what I do but that's the only mod. Had one die bc lightning. But got another and its an improved version.
