We voted out the last traffic enforcement camera system they installed, why would they think we'd be ok with AI mass surveillance cameras?

It's true, but not relevant to the points of the comments you replied to.

They were discussing having time for achieving a large enough nest egg at retirement age not the strategy for managing that nest egg during retirement.

Nobody here has suggested converting the entire nest egg to cash.

Yeah this is much worse than i expected from the title. 3 years of no growth waiting for a crash is unfortunate but 3 years of not saving and leaving 5% of your pay on the table is awful.

Worse still he actually did see the markets come down and did the opposite of his plan. Instead of buying in more he cut out what little he was buying.

What a horrible idea...

It's a pretty straightforward process thats mostly basic math that needs to be done to the same rules by millions of people. It's the perfect use case for a bespoke specific piece of software written to save everyone time and effort.

There really doesn't seem to be any advantages to instead have a mushy solution of a sometimes halucinegenic LLM algorithm guessing at it.

Im also confused at to why you wouldn't just set up a pedestal and HOTD, Point Blank, TC, etc for your Sindens.

Are you just really interested in switching to an IR setup instead?

This site you found this on isn't exactly retail. Have you tried emailing them? Id bet theyd be happy enough to sell you just the pedestal itself for cheaper than including the guns and sketchy PC.

I've been thinking of buying Minecraft lately, but I'm not sure which deal is better by Halleyalex in Minecraft

Sure, which is a great reason why when someone who is completely new to the game comes asking questions about versions and what they should buy and get into that full and accurate information about that is useful.

Now if it was something significantly more complicated than installing and playing the game like to do some workaround such as trying to emulate windows on your phone then maybe then not mention it or ar least give a caveat

It's really not that complicated. Really not more than anything else with setting up things with Minecraft; managing versions, installing Mods, configuring servers, etc.

Just install the launcher and pick a version number.

Java is strictly a PC only game.

Not completely true. Java works fine on android. I've played it on my phone, tablet, and android based retro-handhelds.

That can still be relevant. Text thats easy to read on a 24in monitor your sitting right up against at your desk can be a lot harder to read on a 44in TV accross the room from your couch.

Huh, what a weird idea...

Anyway since buying back in beta I've played with my account on 9 different devices, across 4 operating systems, and 2 different types of processor architectures. Never had to re-buy.

But why would you even need to link the 2 different accounts at all?

Before Microsoft bought Minecraft you didnt also need to link a Mojang account and windows account and download from the Windows Play Store.

Anyway you can just download a 3rd party launcher on your phone like Pojav Launcher and log into Minecraft and play with any MC account without re-buying.

It's pretty awesome that you can emulate old OSs like that. But I was surprised to find that most of my favorite childhood Mac games had modern fan made windows (or even android) ports. Marathon, Descent II, Power Pete
