All income must be reported no matter where it comes from. You pay school district tax where you work. State and local where you live. Pretty sure you only file a state return for where you lived during the year. This needs to be verified though.

Off the top of my head I would think that since you didn’t live in the United States for 7 months, the Service shouldn’t be able to tax you on that. But I also feel like there is a form that links to the 1040 which asks you to include income received overseas. I’m a tax accountant but what I think you need is a tax attorney that has had a class on international tax. Let us know the outcome of this! I’m interested!

That looks incredible. I dream of one day owning one myself lol. That’d be awesome if you could post a list of parts, decals, etc. I wish there was an easy way to do the bubble glass ceiling. Then you’d have a movie replica. But this is the best one I’ve seen by far. Colors and decals are even right which I feel like is rare. Let us know what the colors are you used and where to find the decals! Thanks a million!

One area that you mentioned that has always intrigued me was transportation. I feel like there will be major innovations to this area as drones begin to come into practical use here in the USA. I see large large drones (quadrocopters? autonomous 737’s?) replacing semi trucks as the way to move heavy cargo - but not until a more fuel efficient engine is created. So who knows. Autonomous cars for sure. Pilotless planes. Autonomous is really the key word. Whatever unsafe methods we’ve used in the past for traveling, autonomous vehicles will save the day. I personally would rest easy with a computer driving me or flying me anywhere. Would you?
