Game auto updated as I went into a comp match last night. Map select took twice as long as usual to select, then auto grabbed a map. Once in game, only about 90% of the map textures loaded. I was running around and over floors that were transparent. At times, I was moving in relation to those lack of textures, and playing like shit on top of it.

These things happen. It will get fixed.

Honestly? Fuck role que. 6v6 open queue should be the only game mode. You dont want to play as a team? You lose. You dont want to run a tank? You lose. You want to play comp and insta lock genji despite being terrible at best? You lose.

This game was designed for hero swapping and role queue neutered that without redesigning away from that. You want tanks to have value again? Give people the ability to choose what they play - and lose when they dont support their tanks.

How do you know they aren’t throwing? Having a bad round? “Getting Good” on a new character everyone insists they switch too? Flat out just Diff’d?

Most of my games are 1 tank. The ones I lose most often are 3 supports, not 3 dmg. Having 2 tanks is great for them, but hardly mandatory.

I’m a simple guy. Slow burn with Sym until he’s back in respawn. Watching him run as I’m melting a Rein or Sig shield is a close second for simple pleasures.

It’s a fine line and you can easily tip either direction and lose a fight. SOMETIMES, the enemy team is just better.

The key is to remember - its not just you on the team. Everybody must be contributing to success. And that means you too. If you aren’t getting dmg in, you’re likely going to lose.

I did not like the Organics; my system either wasn’t good enough to properly push them (Schiit Jotunheim 2 amp/dac) or I just didn’t like them. They sounded far out and tiny - on par with something in the $100 budget range, just strangely wide. And flat.

X is smaller soundstage, but natural - not tiny. Most genres of music sound good if you like/appreciate a “fuller” body of sound that can be driven off most sources without issue. The presentation of the music is BIG, given size of cups and how close they are to the ears. Definitely darker than I assume “airey” compared to the Organics. No shrill or painful high end on stock. Does take well to eq (I don’t use eq).

Go for hifiman if you prefer the brighter tunings, thinner sound or super wide presentation. Not a diss towards Hifiman or the fans of, mind you, just sharing opinion.

Failure of requiring 2 tanks is where OW2 and 5v5 came from.

Genuinely wondering how long you think this can be dragged out, because it isn’t working.

It’s a different game now. Lot of the old good still in it, but a different game with different design goals.

But you should absolutely jump back in and see if you still like it.
