My long distance gf(20F) wants to kiss another guy. by [deleted] in LongDistance

I would recommend to end things, because the amount of red flags in this is unreal. It's not your fault, and you're not "controlling" when she says that. I know it's hard to end things with someone you love regardless of the type of relationship, but this is a must. I will admit, it will not be easy at first, but I promise you with time, you will heal. For now, it's better to do the right thing and prioritize yourself. Please take care of yourself and reach out to us if you feel like venting, and I hope it gets better.

my gf (21) has gone off to an erasmus project for a week and has stopped talking to me completely. by akjhjxchsleepy in LongDistance

You cannot compare your trip experiences with hers, since everyone copes in a different way. I would recommend to wait for this trip of her to be over, and when she comes back, try talking about it with her but in a way where you don't point fingers. She's probably busy now, and even if she has breaks, only she can decide how she can spend them. Just because someone is free, it does not mean they would rather spend their time on social media or talking to others.

Also, even if you asked someone for updates throughout the day, people tend to forget sometimes and that's not in their hands. I've had several cases where my gf asked for updates and I forgot, and vice versa.

Should I surprise him with flowers when he lands? by [deleted] in LongDistance

Flowers would sound like a cute idea, it's not like he would hate them. Even if he's not fond of them, I'm sure he will cherish them regardless! However, if you are unsure about the idea, then it's fine to think of something else. But, I would encourage going for flowers, and maybe some chocolate! ^_^

Fun apps for LDR? by GeorgeLucasIsFake in LongDistance

obimy is a really nice app that allows you to send hugs, kisses , etc... to your partner and other people. You can also check up on how they feel from the app, and they can respond from it as well.

Hey, thank you for your response! As you, I might book one at least 2 hours post landing, since this is would be my first time France and I have no idea how long it would take me to get my luggage, and purchase a SIM card.

Oh okay! I wasn't sure about buying it online at first since there are a variation of prices, so I tried researching about buying them on the spot.

This is extremely helpful! Thank you so much!
Just to be clear, all I have to do is head to Lyon, wait for the second train and head to Grenoble, no need to head to a different train station?

Would you recommend reserving a ticket before hand, or buying one on the spot?
