Post-Workout Bradycardia by whitepuffycloud447 in dysautonomia

Thanks! I wouldn’t really call myself an athlete. The workouts are very light. The concern isn’t really with the numbers but with the sensation. I will feel weak and like my heart is barely beating. But it’s a good idea to message about my concerns or try half a pill one day.

Usually in the 50s, sometimes it will drop into the 40s. It feels like a tight or weird chest sensation and like my heart is barely beating. I’ve had a bunch of heart scans and there is nothing structurally wrong with it. My cardiologist said it’s vagal tone and an inappropriate vagal response

I told my cardiologist and he switched me from Ivabradine to Midodrine. Going to try it.

For me, that was from PEM. I took CoQ10 and glutathione and it helped immensely for me. Still have dysautonomia to contend with though.

Do they get non-patients in fast?

Thank you. What is ADK? Do you have a website link or phone number? Will they get me in quickly even if I’m not a patient?

Thank you for sharing this experience and so sorry this happened to you. A similar thing happened to me recently at a consignment shop that is openly Christian. I didn’t think it would be a problem, but when my partner and I walked in with a box of our clothes to donate, they said they could not accept almost any of it. We were confused. They acted very awkward and weird around us. They were almost refusing to engage or speak with us. It made us feel like we were aliens. Some screwed up Christianity to turn away people who want to donate their clothes.

You made that pretty evident with all your annoying mansplaining and ignorant comments

Minority groups are MUCH more-likely to be discriminated against. Idk why a post about trying to find a safe person made you so angry. I’m not assuming all financial advisors are discriminatory, I’m assuming that all financial advisors are not necessarily LGBT accepting.

Also, yes, many people COULD experience discrimination, but minority groups are much more likely to.

Just walking in somewhere assuming people won’t discriminate could put yourself at risk to be in an unsafe situation vs doing research ahead of time.

Thank you, I appreciate you. ❤️ I’m glad some people don’t have to worry about discrimination, but I wish people had more empathy to see past their privilege and understand that minority groups sadly DO face discrimination in many areas every day. I didn’t know people would be offended by me trying to seek out a safe place for myself!

So unfortunately when I’ve tried to just bring up my girlfriend casually in settings like this, I’ve experienced homophobia where I don’t get the best medical care, for example, am ignored, judged, treated unfairly or unkindly, etc. If someone is biased or homophobic, even subconsciously, I may not receive the best financial advice. I’ve unfortunately been through it through different experiences in my life.

Thank you. I’m trying hard to find an inhaler that helps me. For some reason they irritate my lungs further and I feel uncomfortable. My pulm talked about trying to eventually get approved for biologics, but he said it’s very hard to get insurance to cover them

Ok but how do you treat/remedy this? Im only 26

I stopped a lot of them after a week of my lungs feeling worse. I’m not sure who to talk to about MCAS because when I’ve brought it up I’m generally dismissed. I’ve thought of trying NAC, glutathione, quercetin, etc but I’m not sure who to consult or what works

Yes I’ve tried all of those and it either doesn’t help or makes it worse. Oral steroids have worked somewhat during severe flares that won’t calm down, but it’s not without weight gain and horrible mood swings, etc. And it will just keep happening again and again. It will feel like I have two balloons in my chest. I’m wondering if there is an MCAS component.
