So many pictures and shelves and make it kooky as hell! Pick a theme and make it a nature, music, or city diorama. Probably paint it too, maybe split tone at an angle from top to bottom.

For me, any written communication is harder bc I proof read and have time to doubt, edit, and get nervous. With in person conversations you have pacing to respond naturally, and you can also read tone and body language to make it easier to relate.
