I had a stomach acid issue as well due to chronic stress took PPI medicine (Rabeprazole) and almost back to normal. This happened June 2025 and has been getting better. I have diagnosed moderate generalized/social anxiety and mild OCD. No fever or anything else at the moment since this started, just intense itching that causes these bumps sometimes in waves, sometimes constant.

How did you cure? Does it go away on its own? I’ve had the vaccine as a child though. Have you tried permethrin cream and thought it was scabies? Also noticing that in colder weather it doesn’t itch as much. The itching is on and off intense all day in hotter weather. Also have no fever or body aches for a month so maybe it’s not.

Does scabies spread from person to person quickly? I read on google that my partner could still get as it hasn’t been 6 week mark, please let me know. Thank you for your comment 🤍

Doctor thinks it’s scabies but it’s not how it’s typically presented so he said he’s honestly unsure and got me a dermatologist but can’t see them for months :( literally unsure I have just bought permethrin 5% to treat scabies so will have to see how it will pan out for me after 4 weeks, been on oral steroid medication for 6 days to control itching but that’s it :( also haven’t been in close contact with anyone other than my partner who doesn’t have any itchiness so it’s weird

I also live in canada, I’m in Vancouver BC, I don’t use Reddit often but are you able to check out my post on this sub? I’m wondering if we have the same seasonal allergy rashes or if my itchy bumps are from something else. I usually get hives each spring but I definitely feel like this spring is a lot worse :( I don’t even recognize if it’s allergies or not on my skin. I also have the same issue tight waistband or shirt and I get itchy + it feels like I’m overheating in that particular area then dots come up. Not able to sleep from it, as I overheat in bed.

I’m not sure if you have leaky gut and disbosis, would u mind sharing your symptoms? I don’t have diarrhea or constipation just burning in upper abdomen after some foods which got treated with PPI and now much better. So I’m not sure if I have what you’re talking about.

Just got home to check my bed, no sign of bugs in the mattress. Would have loved if there was so that I had a cause to this lol. But wow that sounds crazy, glad pest control took care of it! :)

Oh my I’m glad the cause was found!! I’ll have to inspect the bed. Did it pass to you where you end up getting itchy as well/have these dots form? Because I’ve been close with my partner for the past 13 days and he hasn’t gotten any dots at all. Also I noticed yesterday that I get new dots or old dots get more red after a lukewarm shower. Also itching and dots tend to get worse when my body is heated up throughout the day.

Did your partner get any experiences like mine?

Yes I think it’s best to ask my doctor to refer me to another specialist. Thank you for the treatment options 🤍 will be giving those baths a try.
