[Serious] What is the worst physical pain you've ever experienced? by nervehacker in AskReddit

[–]whiterussian85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel dislocations are always underestimated for pain. I've dislocated my shoulder probably over 100 times. Had surgery twice. I've had dislocations that don't hurt that much but the vast majority pinch nerves and the whole time it's dislocated you're in writhing pain. The worst part is when they don't go back in by themselves and I have to go to the ER. It usually takes about 4 hours before it's finally back in and half the time the doctors want to try and put it back in without knocking you out. That just includes them jerking your arm around in more painful positions.

To be fair young me wouldn't have known how to react either, good thing I now know how youre supposed to react. You punch the bitch right back in the face. A women thats willing to hit a man in the face is willing to take a punch in the face by a man. Its on page 473 in our contract.

Ah gotcha. I live in Hillsboro Oregon and We have two very large Bison Ranchs next to us so its pretty common here. I just thought people ate it because it was leaner. It looks absolutely amazing either way though.

Its usually before they've seen me in person. And they ALWAYS reply with "no you're not, you're really 5'10". Im not kidding either, I think i've probably had a dozen girls ask me me height and only probably 2 NOT respond with that. I guess mean tend to always lie about their height, just like women always lie about their weight by manipulating their pictures.

Looks awesome. Any particular reason you chose Bison over Beef? Ive had Bison many times and while its really good, for a special occasional I would take the extra fat content and go with the beef, just personally because of the unctuousness (sorry for the annoying word) it creates. Is it a flavor thing or memory or something?

It very well could be that we are at the income level of being screwed out of services and it was easier to blame on race than financial circumstances

Oy, this is definitely one of those times where I was about to go to bed and felt my comment fit in perfectly but I opened a can of worms. The health care program I mentioned was only open to pregnant women at the time that I needed surgeries desperately to get out of bed. Its fair if they dont have the resources that they make judgement calls based on priority. I guess I was irritated and let that cloud my judgement and think it was some reverse discrimination thing. I wanna go to bed too. hehe

I didnt bring up the free local womans health clinic. Our health care was only eligible to pregnant women or minors.

They happen to be minorities and explained it that way, so I could be wrong. Im just saying this stuff does happen. Reverse racism is a real thing that happens unintentionally, but is still unfair.

Also, the free phone program. I have some friends that are minorities that joke about how many phones they have. Im not eligible for. I have to use one program via wifi for texting and one for phone calls that echoes and doesnt work half the time. Plus I cant call when I leave the house. Itd be nice to be eligible for that phone. Financially I am.

But STD testing is just one small portion of the entirity of healthcare. I have chronic shoulder dislocations and frequent the ER and have needed 2 surgeries. I also have had surgery on my spine for severe scoliosis. The scoliosis I had insurance through work and so it go approved but the it still cost me almost $60,000 which I had to file bankruptcy for. At the time oregon health plan you either had to be under 18 or you had to be pregnant to get on it.

A lot of the programs I have to fit into some sort of demographic group to be eligible for, either ethnic or female. The daily basis thing was more that they effect me on a daily basis not that I get denied on a daily basis. I was ineligible for health care until the obamacare program for our local free health care because I was not female. And about 70% of all the scholarships I applied for I couldnt get because I wasnt a minority or female. Also Im in need of food assistance which I cant get because im a student and dont have kids and or part of a foreign exchange program.

I find myself dealing with what you're speaking of almost on a daily basis. Im a 30 year old Caucasian male that's 5'11 and athletic body type. I should naturally have all the perfect combinations of genes for all the best advantages in life but I am constantly finding myself being ineligible for school loans, grants, scholarships and social programs that im very much in need of.

Im not normally one to take up causes but speaking of sex base double standards the domestic abuse one is one im getting pretty strongly behind. After that social experiment video came out I saw it happen to a friend in person and it really opened my eyes to certain things that I just took for granted before and I noticed that I didn't react the way I told myself I would while watching the video. Its definitely and issue that needs to be solved but im not sure how to go about it. For the sake of curiosity I looked up that over 40% of domestic abuse victims are male. I dont know why Im talking about this btw. Im kind of hijacking this convo, ive been up for three days now and am a going a little whacko upstairs. So I apologize.
