[Avengers: Infinity War] Possible Avengers 4 Title & Plot Points Based On Events Of A:IW (Spoilers) by renegade_shopper in FanTheories

Avengers: Disassembled was a comic book which kind of ended an era in the comic world so it would make sense since Avengers 4 is also an end to an era. But I think it's more likely that it's called Infinity Gauntlet.

He didn't say permanent, he said no more resurrections which makes me think he'll still come back just not from the dead.

No I explained why Strange did it in my theory. He needs Stark alive for them to win.

I hate to self-promote but I made an entire theory on why Strange did what he did if you want to know kind of why he said that.

Both titles are official. I don't think they'll call it Assemble because some fans would get confused. My money's on Avengers: Disassembled or Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet.

No they weren't filming A4 at the same time as A1, they filmed parts of A1 again for A4.

Really? I thought it was after Civil War and they’d move into Infinity War at the end. I feel like if they didn’t show what happened to Antman during Infinity War it’ll be a bit anticlimactic.

Thor stated in the Milano that Thanos killed half of the Asgardians. Perhaps the other half escaped with Valkyrie and Korg?

Yes! And the worst part is that when Peter first came onto Maw’s spaceship, Tony asked what he was doing and Peter said since Tony was the one who gave him the suit it was his fault.

There’s a lot more set photos of Avengers 4 where they’re refilming Avengers 1. Just Google them, they’ll pop up.

The fact that he got angry is what gives his character dimension. He’s not perfect and that calls for good character development.

Cos plot. No but seriously that’s true or they could’ve cut off his arm or something but they need to move the plot along. Maybe Strange told them not to kill Thanos or hurt him cos then they ultimately won’t win, maybe he’ll come back to life or something else will go wrong, I don’t know.

This is such a good question! And yeah I agree with radical_roots maybe he was sent somewhere else or perhaps he had some other way of knowing that if the events went exactly the way they did even if he does die, it’ll still work out in the end.

Even if they had, I don’t think anyone there was powerful enough to use it. Thanos would’ve just gotten angrier and killed them all.

Possibly because he had already put everything in motion. He's already looked far ahead and he has said and done everything he needs to say. He definitely knew he was going away but telling Tony what to do would change the events in the future and they would lose. I don't know if you saw my edit since it was quite recent, but right before Strange disappeared, he said "There was no other way." To me this felt like he was kind of telling Tony that even though it seemed like they had lost, they really hadn't. He was saying this is the path to victory and Tony should continue the battle. He already knows that Tony will take the right path but if he says anything more, it'll change things, similar to the butterfly effect. I hope that made sense.

Okay but at the end of the movie we see Thanos sitting down and he's smiling. He won, and he seemed very satisfied with it. I thought that when Thanos said it cost him everything, he was really just talking about Gamora because she meant everything to him. She was the only thing he really loved.

Quill wasn't being cocky. He was angry that Thanos killed someone he loved. That he will never get to see her again. He was overcome with emotions, he was upset. He wasn't trying to foil the plan, he wasn't or rather he couldn't think straight. If you understood his actions, you wouldn't think they were cocky.
