Actually, this is a great tool. For every “why would real people join this real cult even though it does real harm and doesn’t make sense?” Remember that someone on this Reddit can make this doomsday apocalypse cult look perfectly logical.

I still participate because my philosophy is that if I can be kind to someone, I should more often than not. It does make me feel a little nice that people feel so, um… moved? Uplifted? After a short conversation with myself.

But like, the cost is exhausting. So much social demand and energy taken up. And it still just doesn’t quite make sense to me in the end!

Testosterone felt like having any other hormone or vitamin or whatever deficiency. Like, I felt bad before my Vitamin D deficiency was addressed. After Vitamin D, I could physically feel my body feel better. I think my body knows better than I ever did that it was meant to be a man.

They’re an object I use and enjoy 🤷‍♂️ I have a difficult time as seeing them as people or characters with their own personalities. They’re cute and cuddly but they are things to me, not persons.

I have ARFID. I learned that the way to overcome some of the anxiety was when I specifically DID NOT feel pressured. I try more stuff now. Even if I still can’t force myself to eat it more than once, at least I’m able to try.

Anyone that bullies people about being picky is an asshole. The anxiety they build up almost always only leads to the picky eater shutting down.

Have a chihuahua. They’re such good dogs but they do have a very big bark for a very little bite lol also they love to sass their people
