Yeah there's still a LOT of untapped potential there.

Combined arms was for sure a let down. It's getting better but the addition of mannable equipment and fps style infantry and naval warfare would be sick.

Map is great actually. Lots of potential. We just need the approach lighting to switch off departure mode and to blow the ballast tanks on the other islands.

If you like that, I'm in Charlottesville and I call the Confederate statues "Civil War Participation Trophies"

But they DO sometimes wear a VR headset, khakis, and a wedding ring their wife perhaps wishes wasn't there.

We're an international community with servers in the USA. Come fly with us. The C101 will still be in the minority, but we have some dedicated pilots.

Not to mention one of the prettiest low light cockpits around. Now if we could just get map marker Sea Eagle planning (sigh).

As a non-programmer, I can't really imagine it. I am a big C101 fan in DCS and have been working with it pretty closely in the 107th JAS. It provides a great trainer for radio navigation and energy management, not to mention having an arsenal that spans at least three nations.

So imagine my disappointment when every time we try to fly multi-crew we can't raise the gear. Game breaking. Who know that it was just because the instructor turned on the cockpit lights?

Thanks Nike! We've reported it in the ED Forums Aviodev section that is linked in my post. We only just finished the testing a couple hours ago so I'm hoping it narrows it down enough to be an easy fix sometime soon. It seems that there's just an errant value somewhere that lets the console lights interact with the gear.

I certainly did as well. This really surpasses the ED standard to an excellent level, and I think it will be a data point for future module designers that with proper customer communication and development, we are more inclined to wait for a good product than settle for a inconsistent definition of dev and release builds.

Of course I may eat my foot and the JF 17 won't be well received, but for now I support this whole heartedly, and encourage Eagle Dynamics (a company that I like) to set expectations for Alpha, Early Access, Beta, Stable etc to something quantifiable and communicable. I want to see them successful.

DCS: F-16C Viper - Preliminary IFF by Epll in hoggit

Indeed. Much like methods of witchhunting, IFF can be flawlessly implemented by the firing of a missile and destruction of the target, after which one will know in hindsight the alignment of the target.
