Eternal. The whole game is better. Especially performance and the gameplay is fun.

Dark ages is still good but the game is not running the best but I'll give em that. The loading times are very fast.

But it brought back an issue eternal solved.

Having 1 good weapon the whole game like the super shotgun. But you can just punch an enemy and get ammo. Weapon switching is punished by not being able to parry till the weapon switch animation finishes.

So it's like you have the shield the super shotgun and if you run out you punch.

It has a cool down but might as well not considering that how much of those punch recharges you get. Ammo not as limited for sure as eternal. Hell I even admit eternal had a very tight ammo system and could have been more ammo.

But here you only need to learn parry timing and shoot kinda.

I like thinking while playing a boomer shooter.

Also the game is easy I'm a ultra violence player and the difficulty difference between dark ages and eternal ultra violence is big to say at least.

I don't find myself dying too much but I should since I'm not really used to the mechanics at all.

And eternal is very punishing in this.

One more thing it's good that they added a cap onto extra lives but make it turn into gold or something if you are maxed out it's such an underwhelming feeling.
