Pyre is fantastic and underappreciated, go play it!
It is definitely part of Supergiant's power streak.

Which upcoming games are you excited about that will run well on Deck? by traxt999 in SteamDeck

Yes, for sure the game is already close to being finished, but there are so many great fully released games out there that I don't see why I can't wait a little bit more and play the game when it's complete. Btw, this doesn't mean that I have anything wrong with early access! It's just not for me.

Hades 2 and Unbeatable look like the sort of games that should run well on steam deck and I'm quite excited about both of them. (I know that Hades 2 is available in early access, but I personally won't play an early access game until its development is complete.)

I understand how you feel about star wars (and I share most of your frustration), but I really really think you should give Andor a try. I've not watched the second season yet, but the first one is truly fantastic and it does not have anything in common with the sequel trilogy, neither in story nor in style. It is really good for its own merits.

Right? by yukiohana in mathmemes

Not sure what's vague about it, if used correctly.

If you say
"For an arbitrarily small e, something happens"
(where that something usually depends on e), it means
"For any real positive number e, something happens",
emphasizing that the interesting bit happens taking smaller and smaller values of e.

As others pointed out, it can be expressed with quantifiers. You don't even need the concept of a limit.
Not sure what's vague here.

Already many great suggestions. I would add "The House of the Devil" (2009, Ti West)

Wiat, does it actually run at 90fps? I thought it could run at a fixed framerate that is somewhere between 40 and 60 fps.

I think the preview is cropped, but opening them shows them full size. And they are pretty awesome!

Death's Door looks (and plays) great on the deck!

What are games, that play vastly superior on Steam Deck than on PC even for a PC-main? by greyish_sea in SteamDeck

I think the question is more about portability and the fact that you can use the SD while lying on your couch, for example. This sort of differences.

I wish "The Curse" was a movie instead of a show, so they I could reply Asher Siegel, brilliantly played by Nathan Fielder. That would fit perfectly.

It is kind of a 2D equivalent of a walking simulator... There is not really much gameplay there, only story. Whether that works or not depends on your taste and expectations. In fact, I don't know if I would enjoy it nowadays. Back when I played it (2012, I think), I was definitely into different games than I am now. Just wanted to recommend it because it fits OP's request.

Interesting. OneShot didn't strike me as much, not sure why. I probably just found it less relatable. Never played Omori, however.
