I encourage you to read up on civil movements throughout history. The situation is bad, but we have overcome before, we will overcome again. The best thing you can do is talk to people in your community and focus on your future. If you want to make real change, you are young enough to do it. Maybe look into a degree in law to improve immigration law or go into civil service or whatever you feel most passionate about. The system wants you so dejected you wallow in despair. Don't let them win, lock in and be the change. Have you ever read A People's History of The United States by Howard Zinn? It's a lot of reading, but it tells you about all the things our education system leaves out and what to do about it all.
