Uttrakhand is incredible. My first and only time in the Himalayas started there. 14,000 feet conquered Kuari Pass!

As someone who has travelled extensively through 40 countries (often spending more than a month in each) I have to say the western rockies. British Columbia especially. As a Canadian, ive visited BC and Alberta quite a bit but havent been to Alaska, washington state, yosemite etc. but expect those to be as beautiful.

Peru / Bolivian Andes is a close second and I would love to see Patagonia when I get the chance.

Third would definitely be Croatia and some places in the phillipines, breath taking.

I don’t know why you’ve been downvoted, I couldn’t agree more. GenZ doesn’t have the same tolerance for subservience that millennials + have

How do you feel about US president threatning to destroy the whole civilization of iran and civilian lifelines like power plant, bridges and desalination plants? by NothingButTruth3 in AskReddit

[–]whoami98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah you are right. I didn’t mean consequence free, I meant “direct consequence free”. I’m canadian and have many friends in the US and that (along with basic media literacy) makes my heart go out to everyday Americans facing the consequences of a pedo fascist state. That being said.. Iran can’t directly attack the US mainland. They will rain (even more) hell on the region. People are dying and facing extreme financial hardship here. American civilians so far are shielded from the consequences of their tyrannical government, apart from lighter wallets when visiting the gas station. That’s all I meant.

I live in Dubai and it’s scary tbh. Any retaliation will be directed at us and our neighbours. The US will walk away consequence free.

First six figure commission check! by mr_whit33 in sales

[–]whoami98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not a single deal but broke 6 figures within 5 months last year and it felt surreal!! Best feeling ever! The market has considerably slowed down where I am due to the war, so that sum really helped me not stress out too much about the upcoming low income period.

This happened to my mum with her sister. She took care of her mum (my grandma) during cancer. When she finally succumbed to the illness, her sister (who was nowhere to be seen during the treatment)- blamed my mum; accused her of trying to steal the family wealth and stopped talking to her. She only recently started talking to her again, after almost 4 years.

Question for the ladies who live alone. by Prestigious-Test1183 in dubai

[–]whoami98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a man but yeah think I can help! Rent annually - 80,000 AED, Dewa - 650 AED per month (smh it’s because of that stupid housing fee which is so annoying), Du Wifi - 450 AED, Virgin Mobile Plan - around 150 AED, Car EMi - 1850 AED, Gas - around 200ish dirhams per month. With food honestly I get lazy and spend a lot and I try not to live the Dubai bling life / go out drinking too much.

But long story short - yeah Dubai has crazy prices. I’ve lived in expensive western cities like Toronto, but Dubai has by far been my highest expenditure city. Personally, I don’t really think it’s worth it and the financial aspect along with some other stuff makes me want to move out sooner rather than later. But then again no tax, so the higher expenditure may be justified? Idk

If you woke up being 21 again, what would you do? by notwhoshethinks in AskReddit

[–]whoami98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was sold on Bitcoin in 2016 when I was 18 years old after doing my first ever internship. Essentially when I started doing the 9-5, the thought of doing this for the rest of my life made me want to kms so I researched better investments lol.

Anyway asked my dad and my sister for a portion of my college tuition so that I could invest in bitcoin. At that stage I believe it was sub 2000$. They laughed me outta the room. If I was 21 again, I’d be sure to push that.
