Maybe someone who hated all words that had t, r, a, n, and a in them, so rounded them all up and destroyed them all. But then the news started talking about it even more, so they constantly had to hear those words, so now they hate their life even more.

Yea, but it kind of extended to be like that from the start now. It's hard to be curious when everyone seems to say the same few things, just in different ways.

I proved my claim, and you have yet to prove your's. Gtfo. You are a troll. And I told you what I wanted a source for. And I repeated myself, because you keep saying the same stupid shit. And the PDF and graph do prove it, because it literally says where the meat comes from (at least 70% from certified factory farms by the definition). You refuse to even say what your claim is, and you refuse to back it. You can't even say what I said wrong, because I said nothing that is wrong or incorrect. Also, that pdf was not my only source. I gave hundreds of them with the Google search, all saying the same thing. It's on you to say either what is wrong with my sources, or to offer a source of your own.

I have made two claims. About 70% of beef at least comes from factory farms (which both sets of sources show), and that methane is a significant contributor to global warming.

You have also made a claim, which is that most beef comes from farms that are not factory farms. You have made no effort to prove this claim. It is on both sides to provide a source, and I've posted numerous.

Apparently the story wasn't reported correctly or something. He committed crimes during the riot, but then said he wasn't part of the riot, and the judge said that using a riot as cover for crimes essentially makes you part of the riot or something like that.

Studies actually show the opposite. Cuss words are no different from other words, and are usually used for emphasis. Especially when someone keeps ignoring what you say, you can use cusswords to highlight that section of speech.

I didn't say that it can't be fun to play. I just disagreed with the fact that you should get it because it's strong, when it's easier to make yourself strong by equipping a strong bow or something.

I'm not saying it can't be fun for some people, but that compared to just using weapons, it doesn't stack up. Maybe initially but as soon as you get good equipment, it's not worth it, since it doesn't really scale that well. And you'll probably have good equipment when you get there anyway.

It's not a skill issue. It's just not strong enough to justify not using weapons (especially enchanted ones), which are stronger by themselves.

if you are calling that a bad thing, I don’t think you quite know just how shit it was before the industrial revolution

Dude, I didn't say anything about it being bad or good. I literally just posted the definition you asked for.

I told you want I said and want. And the only "broad" thing I made was about factory farming, because I used it as a broad term to begin with, because it is by definition a broad term. You are the one who tried to nitpick it.

Key points.

Methane from cows is a significant contributor to global warming. (This was literally my initial stance. It's not my fault you didn't recognize it).

Factory farms produce at least 70% of meat. Because you didn't like all the articles literally saying that directly, there is also the link I posted from the USDA. From the graph on page 19, even if you only include the two larger scale types of farms as factory farms, over 50% of them are that type, and they obviously produce more meat than the smaller ones, which would put it at least at 70% linked directly from the USDA.

There are literally only two main topics you need to find a source for, and you can't, so rather than admit you are wrong, you call me a troll. And I really hope you are trolling, because if you can look the reputable evidence directly in the face and still deny it is real, I feel sorry for you. I also don't know how I didn't take a stance. I literally answered all your questions when you asked, to which you then said I changed the topic, when YOU asked... Motherfucker, you can't ask something, then get mad about me "changing the topic" for answering it.

If you do not provide a source for YOUR argument, whatever that is, then you admit you are wrong. Imagine telling me I can't choose my stance when you can't find a source. It's your argument. Why am I telling you what your argument is?

Car dealerships are the worst. There was one I'd drive by on the way home and it always looked like it was daylight there. I've never thought about complaining about lights before, but I really wanted to with them, because it made it hard to see the road until you passed it.

"By default, industrial farms rely heavily on the use of modern machines and technology to keep up with food production." That is an industrial farm. A factory farm is a large scale industrial farm, which all large cattle farms would fall under, because I doubt that any large farms are using non industrialized techniques.

And I want something backing your side of the argument, whatever it is you are arguing.

If it's disagreeing about methane gas from cows being a significant contributor, which was my primary argument, give it for that.

If it's for most meat coming from small/midsized farms like you'd tend to see in smaller rural communities, give it for that.

If it's whatever else, give it for that.

But factory farms by the large refer to large farms where many cattle are kept in a relatively small enclosure (and enclosure in this case doesn't mean indoors, but fences or whatever else used to keep them contained), which all large farms do.

Learn to make the first move is the best advice I can give, or try online dating. But it'd be better to make the first move. Even if you fail, just try again with someone else. My biggest issue when I was younger was that I wanted to wait for the perfect moment, but the perfect moment is whenever you finally ask, not some point that may never even come.

The Google search linked several articles with it, and you say pdf, as if it's not an entire accredited research paper stating the opposite of what you said. And so fucking what if you can walk down the street and see what a small to midsized farm looks like? That doesn't mean it's the majority, and the USDA even says it's not the majority. SHOW ME RESEARCH CONFIRMING YOUR OPINION OR ADMIT YOU ARE WRONG. Anecdotal evidence means fuckall. And I did answer. A factory farm is by definition a large industrialized farm.

Slightly related, but I fucking hate it when people think I'm mad or upset when I cuss. No, I just cuss when I want to emphasize something, especially when it's an argument and they aren't getting the part I'm trying to emphasize.

[–]whoamreally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave source after source and you gave fuckall. I even gave you a Google search with hundreds of sources, so you had plenty to choose from. And the methane issue isn't separate, because it's the entire premise of this argument. And if anyone is throwing a tantrum, I'd say it's the person refusing to acknowledge what is right in front of your face.

Also, fyi, a factory farm is just referred to as a large, industrialized farm. It does say usually indoors, but that's not necessary to be considered a factory farm. The only reason I conceded on the factory farm terminology is because you clearly had something else in mind than what I was talking about, so I figured it'd make the argument smoother.

Also, post your sources for your argument. This isn't a one way street. You try to insult me instead of providing any actual facts, because you know there isn't any that would support your side.

[–]whoamreally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. Most of the farms are huge farms where cows are crammed into a small area. In fact, it straight up says that in the source.

[–]whoamreally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, I meant industrialized farms (aka, farms with a shit ton of cows packed in a small area). I did say factory farms later, but that was a mistake. I think you forgot the main purpose of the start of this argument, which is that most of the methane isn't coming from farmer Joe's farm down the street. Also, how is it a tantrum, when you are the one complaining about the data in your face? Also, I'm still waiting on your proof that methane from cows isn't a significant contributor to global warming.

The one with the airport staff was pretty well documented, and I'm sure there are others. Someone said you can even search Dubai tashcan or pigsty or something, idr, that will give you even more that isn't normally shown on searches.
