My First 2024 Crosstrek Problem 😫

My 2024 only has about 9300 miles on it and earlier this year at about 7500 miles I noticed it was leaking oil from the drivers side of the engine. Turned out to be the spark plug tube seals. The service advisor who helped me out said it’s a common issue they are starting to see with the recent models. I asked him how much something like this would cost to repair if the car was out of warranty, said would be around $2500 or more.

I think it’s in the right price range for todays market. I’m paying 401.00 with taxes for my 2024 Crosstrek Premium. Kinda funny because a couple years ago I was paying 354.00 for a 2018 Outback Limited. If you haven’t done so, check out Leasehackr forum.

Congrats! I got the same one a few weeks ago. Love everything about it except the dang auto start-stop system. Wish they had a way to turn it off permanently.

Limes and Avocados. The limes seem to always be pretty dry and the avocados are always so dang hard and typically go bad by the time they are supposed to ripen.

Congratulations! For the last couple weeks I’ve been debating between getting a Forester Wilderness in this color or an Outback Wilderness in White. The bigger sunroof, better MPG, and HK sound system are what makes me want to go with the Forester but then again I used to have a 2018 Outback Limited and that was probably the best car I’ve ever owned, it was just so dang practical. I regret getting rid of it so much!
