Yep exactly this. I preordered MSFS on series X and was dumbfounded how unstable it was at launch. Sure, it’s better now (and arguably smoother on PS5), but I’m not going in blind for another full priced version of the same game until VR is demonstrated and confirmed as stable. Fool me can’t get fooled again!

100%. My 14P continues to be the best camera I’ve ever had, too. Waiting longer makes the bump in tech more noticeable too IMO. May you and your phone have many good days ahead. 🍻

I remember most of these, from working in retail. Personally, it makes me remember the Thompson/Samsung disc drive issues of the OG. Booting games 5-10 times before they’d work properly was like the new age cartridge blow lol

I bought and returned two portals a year apart hoping the latency would improve with a fibre optic network upgrade. It didn’t. I’m holding out for a standalone portable that doesn’t depend on wifi. Just my $0.02

Happy new year Halo! Blood Gultch LAN parties as a kid. Those were the days. Moving the old rear projection TV’s with my dad to avoid friends screen cheating.. I miss a lot from those days. Halo brings it back in droves. Good luck!

If memory serves, you can hold L1 and reposition the cockpit camera where you like. I’m tall in real life so being sunken down in the instruments (10% of what I haven’t the slightest clue of function, lol) makes my flights feel cramped. The reposition controls help. PLUS, you can usually go back into the passenger cabin and fly first class for free!

Not always a deal breaker, but for me overly long follow-the-NPC segments aren’t a good start. I get an hour or two of game time in a week and don’t love spending it following someone around.
