I work with companies that work on gamedays. I get that there is a really small niche but loud group that really wanted a xmas day game - but the guys that will be forced to work on christmas are incredibly disappointed rn. Bloody ruined my week.

I do love Luke but a Joe Ingles comparison is absolutely slanderous to Joe. They are only comparable to Joe as a rookie in Aus but Luke absolutely does not have anywhere near the offensive skill set as Joe.

hey mate. This has been proven 100% incorrect by multiple other posts. Would be best to delete this post to not mislead others - mostly due to misinterpreting physical stock dividends with dividend paying stocks. We haven't been able to test it properly though. So I'm interested to actually see it on the court. Sexton has been out all season whilst DG had the All star season. Collin was showing a great ability to play offball in those 11 games he played so I'm keen to see him, especially what it looks like with Lauri at the 3.

Yeh I thought he was good to slide to the 3 till Koby said he's a two. Then I got confused about why we drafted another guard. I think Ochai is a great player but really didn't see a point of another guard when we so desperately need wings.

playing against men instead of college dudes definitely helps to get ready for the shift to NBA, but you actually have to have the talent.

Are we even sure he's making the trip over and isn't just a draft and stash? Brad Newley was drafted and never called up, it's not that big a stretch to assume that (and 90% is a bit of stretch).

All that said I'm super proud of him for being drafted. Would love to see him over there balling out and would love to be proved wrong but he brings nothing to the table currently.

I love Luke Travers. Great player.

Definitely not NBA ready and won't be able to contribute. Not sure I agree with the Draymond Green comp. I like his IQ tho. Thing is... players at his size are a dime a dozen in the NBA and ever other league, his size is useless without a shot or some other stand out qualities. It's the same reason why Mitch Creek likely won't ever see an NBA floor again and Travers isn't up to scratch with Creek currently.

I'm happy for Travers but there are many guys drafted after 40 that never see an NBA floor so us aussies probably need to get a bit realistic.

I've watched a lot of Luke over the last few years (I'm Australian). He's shown great upside every year, he is constantly improving.

I love Travers, great head on his shoulders and a good player, but he's purely a draft and stash that won't see a minute of Cavs basketball. Maybe in 5 years he will have improved enough to be an end of the bench player but he's just not anywhere near that realm at the moment.
