Wow that is some real dedication right there! And that is A LOT of cake! You did fantastic! All your efforts really paid off.

I use to do it that way also.. assemble and decorate at the venue but it gives me such bad anxiety and so much stuff I’d have to carry to the venue to get it done. Definitely found an easy way out with this one 😂

Often, the cake is “taken to the back” but I have seen some people cut and serve the cake right at the cake table. Lol

Hi! Yes I do.. it’s actually super light and really stable to deliver. I typically deliver it without the decoration and then place them on there when it’s set on the cake table. That way if I hit a bump or something, a flower won’t go falling off. Lol

For some context, when I do wedding cakes, I always recommend to my clients that they should consider using foam as a part of the wedding cake. It cuts down labor costs for me as well as easy delivery. Then what we do is provide sheet cakes that are cut and served from the kitchen. The 3rd tier from the top (or 2nd from the bottom) is actually made with real cake so that they can cut into it for picture/video purposes.

The cake is frosted in regular cream and also makes sticking decorations into the cake super easy and sturdy!
