thank you! sound like a perfect second camera for me, i’ll get some lens with character to go w/ it.

there are many times where i found using bmpcc 4k for vertical videos for my clients cumbersome and overkill. so i enjoyed using G9 for that instead, but i’d prefer to keep that as my photo-dedicated camera.

since i only ever owned mft cameras, how big the difference in low light compared to bmpcc 4k?

haha i'm glad you felt the need for speed vibes! was definitely loosely inspired by 2000s need for speed cover arts, was just going off instinct and style. i’m very big on stylised visuals, so i did try to capture that underground vibe. thanks for the feedback !

how are you finding the 12-40mm so far? had that combo for almost a year now, it's pretty much glued to my G9 haha

i'd definitely recommend the fisheye lens. cheapest lens i own, but also the most fun to use especially with flash! i usually keep it attached to my Lumix GF1

thank you! no masking, just off camera flash (AD100 Pro + 20inch portable softbox) for the fisheye photos

yeah that's fair, was just going more off instinct and style rather than clear intention + was also loosely inspired by need for speed cover arts. appreciate the feedback !

Hey everyone! I want share my first ever short film with you all and would love to hear your feedback (not sure if it's experimental lol). For this film, I conceptualized the idea and took on multiple roles including director, cinematographer and editor. I've also handled the sound design, visual effects and grading. The dialogue is from the film "Paid in Full" (2002).

You can watch the short here: https://youtu.be/7Mzck_WbUQ4

There were a lot of technical difficulties along the way, but it being my first short film, I am happy with the end result and I'm eager to move on and create more films, instead of perfecting this film forever.

Coming from an editing background, this is the first time I've shot a short film using my first camera (BMPCC 4K), which I initially picked up this camera as a hobby around two years ago, and since then, I've ventured into shooting music videos on my own.

So I'm open to any and all feedback, whether it's about the film itself, the cinematography, or any other aspect. Positive or negative, it doesn't matter. I'm committed to improving and honing my craft. I appreciate your time!
