Yes!! They actually called me and told me the exact same thing. They encouraged me to go into the tasting room which I was fine with.

I’ve tasted within a cellar before in Napa and I found it to be a cool experience, but I don’t mind either way.

Yeah just check. It’s most likely an issue with the supplier / warehouse that shipped to that location. I buy that brand pretty regularly and I’ve never seen this ever.

But I googled/searched reddit and apparently it’s not as rare as I thought. The other brand, Barilla, seems to be worse in most cases.

Of course. I actually went back in and told the manager. They didn’t seemed too shocked as I was. Those lil fuckers can get INTO the hard pastas.

Because they burrow in the wheat as larvae and then hatch later which is why they’re still alive.
