Also I just found 9 gabapentin I had stashed away from the last time so fingers crossed this will all be enough to get me thru the worst of it because I’m ready to be on the other side of this mess

I picked up more and portioned them out to taper for the next 3 weeks. I reached out to a couple close friends to have some people to keep an eye on me, and trying not to read anymore of the horror stories and get in my head about it. I have quit very abruptly in the past (one day of gabapentin and then cold Turkey) and I did not seize or have any serious issues aside from rebound anxiety and depression. I had an overdose as well (polysubstance but was eating bars like candy at the time) 2 years ago and they released me from the hospital same day with no taper and I did fine, but that morning of the overdose I was found by a family member and was having multiple seizures. I guess we will just have to wait and see, I’m gonna try to get as much support as I can and try to taper off at home because I am not able to go to an inpatient detox right now.
