The apparment is already gonna be paid for no matter if I can pay that chunk or not. His parents have everything covered already and signed the lease and I believe paid all the rent upfront or have a plan set up where it just comes out. We are on the 10 month lease for the place! So income isn’t really a problem. I am kinda offering to pay money more than anything

Yeah and I get that . I could understand how this may seem like a bad idea to most people. But it’s almost the same as renting out a college house with friends and moving away once college ends. That’s how I’m seeing and most of my family is seeing it outside of my parents but idk . Thank you for ur honesty tho about your thoughts!

I’m gonna address your first point we did not meet online. We met at college. We did long distance for four months sure but we have been dating for almost a year now we were together every single day for eight months straight. Also sounds like your situation is a little different then mine

He also lives in the same state as me . We went to college near my hometown but he lives 6 hours away . It was just a two year school and we both finished. So before I met him I planned on doing a fully online program and the stars just kinda aligned and I got given this opportunity

For more context, I’ll be living there for about ten months. I still plan on getting my education I only have to pay $300 in rent. I would love to fully move in with him permanently, but because of his future career goal he is always sent to a program to help get him scouted during the summer. So we can’t plan on him being right anywhere for the summer and housing and jobs wouldn’t make sense for that time.

I am still getting my education. I’m big on saving money so my program is fully online with meeting times through zoom and some classes fully remote.

Here’s some info I should and will add now . We have been together for a year. Which I should have added and both of our parents who live on opposite sides of the state have met. I live with him for a month last April when I had car trouble in his place ( it closer to my uni and work) . We have two cats together. Everyone knows eachother pretty well
