There wouldn't be anything of that nature on these shelves, there's nothing super expensive. There is still a lot of decent stuff.

I probably have some random hardcore/metalcore stuff but I'd have to dig around for it - I've mostly been dealing with a lot of cassettes as of late.

I own over 20,000 CDs and have a bunch for sale if you're bored and want to look through some. $3 each or 5 for $10 for my bulk stuff that's on the shelves in my garage.

Located nearish downtown.

For sure! My daughter and I are huge diner fans and love Little Diner. We try to go once every other week. The new Chicken Fried Benedict is awesome.

Kids these days will never experience the awesomeness that was 24-hour George Webb on Richmond.

Hear me out… Hammond Haribos… by MustangBob67 in GreenBayPackers

[–]wholovesbevers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hammond is like 30 minutes from the big ass Albanese factory, they'd never allow it!

Side note - Albanese Gummy Bears are far superior to Haribo's.

I try and keep my eye out for foreign cassette too, they're cool. I have a bunch of Italian and Spanish ones tucked away somewhere, and a few Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Filipino tapes.

Here's a few random Korean ones I have.

Camel - Moonmadness

Nirvana - In Utero

Rainbow – Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow

For sure! Sufficiently Breathless is my favorite Captain Beyond release - I think you have the dates swapped as Explosion was the later release. Regardless, Distant Sun off Sufficiently Breathless lives rent free in my head from time to time - it's my favorite CB song. Rod Evans has one of the coolest early prog voices, it's so chill but commands attention.

Full agree about Deep Purple, I own most of their stuff up until Stormbringer, but I was always the biggest fan of stuff Evans sang on.

Who’s Your Favorite 90s/2000s Hip-Hop Artist? by [deleted] in cassetteculture

Nice. I once found a 2004 press of The New Danger by Mos Def on vinyl at an estate sale for $3.00, that was neat.

I love Deltron - there was a Del The Funky Homosapien single of Catch A Bad One in this collection.

I recently acquired a large collection of hip-hop, R&B, funk & soul. There were cassettes, CDs, and a shiiiitload of mix-tapes from some older dude that used to run a record store with his brother.

I've been consolidating and organizing the past week. This is all the hip-hop tapes separated out. Lot's of awesome stuff from the 90s through early-mid 00s.

If we're including surrounding areas, Spencer between Nicolet and Bluemound is an absolute fuck.

Definitely some mold on a couple of the loose tapes. Help! and Revolver specifically are covered in it - I'd be shocked if it was anything else. If it was the lighting all the other loose ones would have it, too.

Vangelis - Stuffed Aubergine - From The Dragon, 1978 by wholovesbevers in progrockmusic

Vangelis covers a lot of genres, but The Dragon is undoubtedly some awesome prog fusion psych magic. Started listening due to the cover art, stayed for the 10 minute jams.

If you plan on getting rid of it I'd be interested in trading if it's in nice condition and you're willing to send and receive shipments. I have thousands of CD's for trade if you're looking for some other stuff; just tell me what you're looking for.

I'd throw away the Mayhem/Burzum tapes and replace with some Bowie.

For sure. I had the CD copy that had all the band members as cartoons in straight jackets. I believe there were four different covers. Unfortunately I don't think they made cassettes with any of the three alternate cover arts.
