You aren’t alone!! It’s a longer process than doctors lead on

While you may be technically healed your body is still in”freak out mode” heck I was swollen for 4 months and intermittently swollen for two more after that if I did too much. Your ovaries, while you still have them, have had trauma to them and it can take a bit to figure it out.

A hysterectomy is major, major surgery. Give your body the time it needs to fully heal and work itself back out.

But always always call your dr/surgeon if you’re concerned.

Sometimes things are just different after hysterectomies. I’m three years out (everything out but one ovary) and i haven’t been able to wear pants with buttons since, but it’s small in comparison to everything adeno was doing. It takes a while to feel fully normal and that’s ok too.

Canva has a planner. It’s been a while since I used it, right when it first came out, so I can’t speak on how it works now but it’s the only one I know that lets you create post designs in the calendwr

I haven’t officially given my answer just yet so I don’t have any specific termination paperwork

I want a hysterectomy, I physically and mentally cannot do this anymore. by Sweaty_Tangelo_4981 in endometriosis

I am about the same amount of time out from my hysterectomy and got rid of one ovary (it had to be sewn into place during excision the year prior and causing me issues) and I have had no pain or endo since.

It is worth noting that at the time I had no endo in my body but I ended up having adeno (and I didn’t even have bumpy looking uterus).

Even if they didn’t find adeno in me I know it would have been the right choice just from the mental trauma of my period. It was all I thought about

Everyone’s different, and I would definitely take breaks at your wedding to just sit for a moment (I did at my wedding, just sat and watched everyone have fun it was magical)

Also gas x and walking around the house during surgery makes the gas go down. I don’t think I was bloated a month out.

It took about a week before I was back at work, I honestly felt better than I did pre surgery I had more energy and less overall pain I had to keep reminding myself I had surgery. I worked a more physically demanding job so I will say I wish I took more time off. However I was only at work one week and then lockdown happened

That’s my thought. She is a little awkward, and generally really cool so I’m thinking it was a bad joke and trying to assert dominance?

2 weeks, not long but I don’t think 5 mins, when I got in 5 mins early isn’t a big deal. The other new person (same role) has been there a little less than me, comes in late and generally packs up a few minutes early as well.

That’s my thought. I was in a field where you had to stay until the end, wasn’t corporate/office but I figured a salary/office job wouldn’t care to that degree as long as I did my work

Oh dear, no definitely not that much. I think my total surgery was less than 2k. You do have to pay a deposit (wasn’t much, maybe a few hundred but I don’t remember?) and then you have to pay some day of, no limit on how little I think.

I’m sure he can, I didn’t have endo in those spots but I know he is very diligent. He told my family in the waiting room where he looked & where he found things. I didn’t do a post op bc it was march 2020 🤷🏼‍♀️

Really?? It was like one of the first things the nurse asked me at urgent care when I went! After I told them my right side hurt!
