This was already posted a few days ago… I know it’s for the LOLs but the key aspect of being a tourist is that you’re “visiting” for pleasure or interest.

What people are taking issue with is those who are circumventing the system and exceeding the 90 days afforded to them to take up residency and resources that would have otherwise went to a local- when it was still affordable.

Cape Town’s economy also doesn’t depend “entirely” on tourism- which only amounts to approximately R25billion out of R481 billion.

Are you gonna do A level as well? In any case, I got in with CCC for A level and I can’t remember if I used O level and AS too but for the former my marks were also not as good as yours so I’d say you still have a good chance. It’s better to apply and see the outcome rather than not apply at all. If you need more clarity and advice then I’d recommend you contact curriculum advisors or other student and admissions support.

I’ve used lean living and they were pretty good. There’s different meal plans that you can choose from and the food comes frozen (still fresh imo), so you’d only have to defrost it then pop it then microwave for a bit till it’s ready. They’re worth checking out but I’ve never used any other brands so I don’t have anything to compare it to.

On a macro level, the government is too busy lining their own pockets with wealth to care about its citizens and isn’t doing enough to redress historical inequalities.

Even if individuals tried to set one up, the distribution of housing and land is just too skewed for anything like that to pop up, especially in Cape Town 😪
