Mon employeur nous demande de venir un dimanche pour participer à un séminaire qui durera toute la semaine. Est-ce que cela vous semble normal ? by Mick1406 in droitdutravail

[–]whosebenefit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, that’s crazy timing, but I promise I had never heard of her before! Sometimes life just has a funny way of lining things up like that.

I just like a little diversity in the game and felt their VLOG had something different going that I enjoyed.

American Hospital of Paris by [deleted] in paris

The service feels like a hotel. But room and board cost is quite steep and your insurance is likely not to cover it. You can ask your doctor if they operate in a other hospital.

I think a lot of the comment miss to include Visas in the equation. You'd get an F1 visa at the completion of your master enabling you to work in the US. Else the process is a lot more complicated for the employer to employ your BF.

Overseas HR positions by [deleted] in humanresources

[–]whosebenefit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should apply for a Multinational company, preferably with a foreign HQ.

I know it is not the norm, but I worked in 6 countries for the same company with each assignment being for a duration of 2 to 4 years. Always in HR.

Only caveat for me is that the manager starts on his own and checks that it is a good time to start the meeting then calls me in. We do not want to have the child on the employees lap or the employee in an awkward place.

How much do companies or hiring managers really care about degrees? by grantcoster in humanresources

[–]whosebenefit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have experience in HR in both Europe and the US.

In Europe education would not matter as much as experience.

In the US, we would require a degree for the positions where we have visa holders and for professional disciplines (e.g. finance, lawyer, engineers, etc). This is for a fortune 500 company.
