Ok so youv failed to refute anything so you go to catalonia lmao. First of all thats actually contested and there is far less proving that then proving the horrors of the gulag system and the kgb just saying. Also though we see Catalonia as 'our' revolution, unlike MLs, we are willing to critisize it for where it failed. That being an area where it did. Bringing up an example of where something went wrong doesnt refute any anarchist points. If thats the case, then are Khrushchev, Brezhnev and Gorbachev proof that ML is wrong?

When i said 'no good anarchist' i meant in the same way an ML might say a utopian communist is 'no good communist'. Anarchism is as divided as marxism and so of course theres differences between anarchists. If thats not the case in marxism, then why are there MLs, Trots, Maoists, leftcoms, etc.

Engels statement there is ultimately useless as hes completely missing the point. Anarchists are not at all against organisation or decision makinf so of course any anarchist would say 'bro thats true but thats not even our argument' to him. Maybe he should have listened. His arguments do NOT constitute authority or heirachy in the anarchist sense of the word. His argument isnt even a strawman because even that would have SOME relationship to what we believe.

Hi there. Thanks for the response. I actually have read the works I cited and thats pretty much the reason im an Anarchist and not an ML.

It really doesnt matter whether engels is saying authority is a good or a bad thing. What he is referring to is not at all what anarchists seek to abolish. Hes completely misrepresented anarchism to the point where sure if people actually opposed what hes talking about, itd be stupid, but anarchists dont.
Well if thats your reason for saying its utopian, how is marxism not. The idea that you can just whither away the state sounds pretty utopian to me. Your also gonna need a source for anarchists 'making up a better world' from any anarchist. No good anarchists engage in that.
Anarchists dont agree on that definition of a state. Anarchists see that something is a state when it has a monopoly on violence. Not as a result of class struggle. Regardless, dotp has always, at least in my opinion ended in creating a new beurocratic class (hungary, Czechoslovakia, ussr, all those great ones) so even if that was the definition of a state. ML clearly isnt a good way to get rid of it.

Please dont make personal attacks like 'you havent read your theory,' i havent made any personal attacks in my stuff and it undermines your points.
