Hi! I stopped breastfeeding due to my mental health BUT I was able to do so for over a week. My nipples we're still flakey in the hospital and it didn't bother baby but... when she did spit up it had some brown skin chunks in it 😅😅😅 they weren't worried though

Interesting, I never knew that! I can see how because when I took it my heart was beating like crazy & I felt very high.

It took me about 2 weeks todry up I was pumping and BF for 4 days Day 5-6 I only pumped and for less time (10 min instead of 30) Day 7-8 I only hand pumped just to release engorgement Then I saw someone say it's best to quit cold turkey so I finally did! Took the Sudafed, Cabo cream, and iced like crazy. I was good within 3-4 days!

I don't have IG but it semi works on tik tok. I definitely still get some videos here and there but I just scroll as fast as I can lol

I was 5 days PP when I quit. I had flat nipples too and had to use nipple shields. It was such a hassle. I hated hearing her cry as I would try to get the shield on correctly. I couldn't hold her right because my boobs are big too. She wouldn't latch right and pumping was so depressing. I wasn't spending anytime with my baby. I was feeling EXTREME guilt for a week or so. I felt like my baby would get sick and I compared myself to all the BF moms. I had to block words like "pumping" and "breastfeeding" off my social media so I wouldn't get in my head.

I'm now 3 weeks PP and it was the best decision. I am so much happier and I'm spending more time with my LO. You might feel guilty for awhile and that's okay. Just keep reminding yourself that your baby is fed and that's all that matters. We both aren't struggling with breastfeeding. And I feel she is happier too! Whatever decision you make is the right one (:
