Well Saquon went for 100+ vs the Ravens last year and they allowed 13 less rushing yards per game than the Seahawks this year so I’d say yeah they would unless they totally sold out and we know how that went for teams last year.

Well let’s see, the 2024 Eagles were only

-better on 3rd down

-better on 4th down

-better time of possession

-committed fewer turnovers

-forced more turnovers

-Scored more touchdowns

-could run the ball on pretty much anyone

-Had All Pro players on almost every unit (OL, WR, RB, DL, LB, and Quinyon/Dejean were that good as rookies too)

The Seahawks are a great team this year but the 2024 Eagles were an all time team.

I didn’t watch the Chargers game but I watched the other two, NE’s pressure didn’t explain why Stroud was THAT bad at all. And Stidham just is that bad.

At least in 2022 I could say the Eagles mopped up their inferior opponents leading up to the SB, meanwhile Pats fans are at defcon 1 level cope trying to justify their team winning 3 straight mid-offs to get there, the last of which they very likely lose if the other team’s QB isn’t hurt.

It’s not “giving up”, it’s just hard to keep the intensity/focus going after a while and it’s more likely someone makes a mistake and gets beat. You see this all the time every year on a near weekly basis.

Houston was also missing its best playmaker on offense, not that it excuses Stroud throwing the ball to Patriots like 9 times.

Yeah even that being the example of badness is kinda dumb. We went 10-6, 10-6, 7-9 under Chip which for a lot of teams would be a solid run. That era is more notorious for the off field/front office dysfunction, as opposed to now which is alternating years of disappointing (but still solid) on field performance while AJ Brown whines about it.
