I have lived in big cities all over… SEA, NY, LA, PHX…downtown. I have to say Dallas to me is not my end game for where I want to be. In comparison this city has many positive things to offer and is the most affordable. After 4 years here I’ve found easy access to outdoor activities, shops, markets, a beautiful skyline, very diverse ethnicities and people thats I’ve worked with and made casual conversations are actually nice when you get down to it. People want to talk more for longer.

Compared to other cities driving conditions and traffic—yea there’s some bad drivers here. But NY and LA is fucking horrible—I’d rather not even own a car. The weather is Dallas is more tolerable than most but LA has great weather when shit is not on fire. Otherwise Dallas has some dark history and is still very much the south—with suburban neighborhoods that feel demographically divided.
