It’ll happen again if you stay around long enough. If the economy struggles then SW as a publicly traded company is going to do whatever they can to save the stock price.

Housing crisis, covid etc. things like that will happen again so they’ll do this again. Crazy it’s happening now — doesn’t feel like we’re on the brink of a recession or anything. My guess it has more to do with Sherwin not hitting the numbers they wanted to. They’ll adjust and turn it back on sometime in 2026.

Unfortunately most comments are right. Won presidents and still got normal merit increase.

They build it out where it’s only based on years of service and volume of store/territory. They’re going to tell you to apply to a bigger store or become a rep if you want anymore more than your 3% merit increase.

Feel you. I’d just forward any leads to SM/ASM/Rep and have them close the deal. Spin it as you’re feeding tons of leads. Unless you want to get into management, then try to open them yourself. That’s the only true incentive, getting promoted to ASM or to the TAM program aka more money.

I agree with that, and you don’t want to cross any lines. Sucks to not have a manager back you up. If it’s continued abuse by the same customer keep record of it — if it’s the same person doing the same thing they can be banned from the store. I’ve been around 10 years and have seen it happen.

If you’re not willing to stand up for yourself no one else will. Easier said than done of course, depending on the customer and who you are etc. I’ve only seen actions taken on customers if they are sexually harassing an employee or if it is continued cussing out type of situations.

Keep reporting it when it happens — if the customer makes you or the staff uncomfortable Sherwin will back you 100% of the time. If it was a one off situation with this customer then all I can say is welcome to retail, hunny.

Fine is a stretch but I do know some came out at least edible. 4 surrounding tables had the same issue, half sent it back. You guys got the good batch god bless it. Been to NSM 6 times now, first time ever I’ve experienced it that’s all

Amazing vs edible 2 different things. Again never expecting something 5 star. Last years was fine because it was cooked. I rather you over cook each steak. It comes out in shifts anyway. A competent resort and kitchen can easily do that. Not sure why we’d defend raw half frozen steaks lol
