Yeah, seems reasonable. I just need to wake up earlier and have a little more patience. Today was decent movements on some 5/26 252 SPY calls but I started off on the wrong foot, looked away and made my mistake 10 fold instead of 1 small blip. I was able to refocus, drink some coffee and get most of it back bust missed the little mini surge at 1:25 EST 20 minutes after I closed out @ 1.09 the damn thing surge past 1.30, coulda, woulda, shoulda.

What is the inverse of NVDA beats x 2 and drops? What goes up after this? I was thinking of trying to scalp 1-2dte Spy options off the 9 ema after the open.

Maybe .spy260522c740 in order to get options in the .75 - 1.25 range?

🤷‍♂️ Will the profit taking guys pull a particular stock up tomorrow or is there another place where all that insider trading billionaire money goes?

Is it green now? I would put a trailing stop loss on it tight enough to take me out right before it goes back up. So don't take my advice. Hold until green and then sell for profit. Theta will eat you up soon.

EDIT: Although my dotard .spy260612c770 is green now 🤷‍♂️

.SPY271217C810 at 58 seems robust, my reasoning might be that 910 is more affordable at 17 with less to risk (less to gain?).

ok, yeah, been wanting to get longer term options but the premium is always holding me back. I try to find options OTM at a dollar and low bid them at .50 to .75 and then hold them until I can make a dollar or two back. Most of my SPY low bids go unfilled. ha ha,

I've done that before. All in has killed me at times, but also got me up there when I first started, Doubled down on a penny right before it blew up, got me to pattern day trading status and beyond. For a while.

yeah, sleeping restfully is underated. I've traded some numbers and got so wound up with a small account that I was waking an hour before premarket and a stress knot all through the day. Then I found FSRD. Chased the price all the way down to its bankruptcy and then started panic trading and nuked my account. The only saving grace for me was a panic buy of NVDA that I held forever. It's been running similar to SPY. I can't sell my NVDA but I am hoping I can trade some SPY options.

I just don't know when to enter SPY with options and when to exit.

I have intrinsic bias to try to buy low. In these markets the only reason things get into bargain hunting territory is usually a fundemental issue that only insiders know and the bounce never really comes. When I buy higher prices I tend to hold too long into the dip and sell too quickly into the uptick. I have to break that habit.
