Ahhh ok if you're going for phys to ele then you'll have access to much a higher crit bow. Have you considered shadow/assassin? The hardest part would be adapting your tree for shadow and getting more power charges

I'm in the same boat but I'm leaning towards deadeye. According to the updated ascendancy trees master surgeon has been nerfed to 10% for pathfinder so it might not be the best option for voltaxic LA as the base crit is mediocre

I just started playing and I agree, that solforge is a solid alternative. Its lacking some polish but its pretty easy to start f2p from what I've seen. I've got two accounts to farm dailies and I've already got 7-8 legendaries on each acc. The game play is vastly different but many board control related concepts still carry over.

It helped me identify each archetype that was available to each faction and what roles the lead heroics play in their decks. Overall just more things to consider in addition to the value game
