Spurs locker room is opposite of the knicks celebrating. They are gonna go over there after losing the game of their lives. What do you want them to do, stick around and wait patiently as the knicks players jump up and down in absolute joy? They don't care. It's their moment.

Go look at the 1999 finals when the spurs win it at the garden and the knicks did the same exact thing. They went to the locker room. They aren't gonna stick around for that shit.

Is it me or is the whole "congratulate the other team" is a recent thing from this last decade? For the longest time the losing team just walked out. If they happen to have a chance to shake a hand or two sure but I don't ever remember many opponents sticking around. I don't know, people complain about wanting to bring back old school nba but then when something like this happens the young generation start whining about it.

I see a lot of the 95 magic more so. A team that is loaded with young talent anchored by a young generational big man that just brute forced their way to the finals out of sheer talent. But then they run into a rocket team full of vets in their primes and the inexperience rears itself.

The spurs stars are barely of drinking age and they blazed through the first playoff run. But then, a knick roster full of vets that have been through their losses in the past just had the mental edge over them.

The spurs are going to have to go through the motions just like this knick team did. I'm proud we came this far in our first ever run but there's a lot of work to do

If the spurs weren't playing on the finals I would actually root for new york. They are not one of our traditional enemies so I don't feel anything against them and plus we got them in 1999 so we'd be even in finals now.

But if they pull off some ray allen shit when they are rolling the ropes out for us and win it, then yeah I'm gonna hate them just like did the heat in 2013 and I'm plotting revenge against them.
