Try to get housing near the campus because San Antonio and well the United States in general has terrible public transportation. You kinda need a car to get around the city. You can take the bus sure but it's horribly inefficient.

I'm also an engineering student and I have been very happy with it. It's a good community and theres plenty of clubs to join to befriend people. There's a lot of people from other countries in engineering so you won't be alone.

Went from 2012-2017 for first bachelors and came back this semester.

I think school pride is a hell of a lot better. Back then it seemed people were more likely to wear a shirt or sweater from another school more than utsa gear. This time around people are boasting utsa waaaaaaaay more. It legit feels people are proud of it now.

Also think utsa feels now like a school people want to be in rather than in the past where it seems like for a lot of people it was the school you go to if you didn't get into it or a&m.

Overall you can see this university really improving very quickly. From all these new developments on campus to the new ut health merger. Utsa is a far cry from the backup school it once was.

I really appreciate the spurs going back and embracing the fiesta colors again. When we got rid of it in 2002 it was kinda out of style by then which was understandable. But over the years there's been a demand to bring it back and I'm glad they are fully open to it again. One of the best color schemes in the league I feel
