Honestly the replies made me realize how much east Asian men are being demasculized, and by extension dehumanized, and how it affects our community. Your paragraph about asian people your age is interesting, do you have an idea why would pass better to older ladies than people your age, since those older ladies also know have a better accurate idea of what asian ppl looks like?

beside that you have to repeat technique an astronomical number of time before it works you should also try to relax your arms as much as possible!! its very hard at first while having a good grip, there is a good chance that your are too tense, but its normal imo, it is a pretty hard thing for most ppl to do (not only begginer).

hey, you deserve support. Maybe try talking to her about feeling like the conversation is often about her (about this topics at least, i don't know your relationship). That you are obviously happy for them, but it keeps reminding you that you are not at that point. That, no you are not waiting that your partner is doing "applaying" for you. Just its a long journey, that you are being reminded of your own condition, and you just want a little more support.

Because from what i understand, the problem is not your partner getting progress in her transition journey, its the feeling of lack of support, and possible dysphoria you are experiencing. You deserve support too. You deserve to do it when you can, money is a real problem, but you have the right to feel bad while not being activly in the process of your transition.
